The mystery behind Ash was revealed during book two. There was plenty of drama going on. I especially like the twins. Many secrets will be revealed. Ash is strong yet vulnerable. She's learning how to trust others, her newly found wolf, and her mate. She's found an uncle who has accepted her into his home and heart. She's found good friends in the twins who are adorable yet fierce friends. And new allies are stepping forward from places she'd never expect. This is a really good read and was hard to put down. The first book was ok, it was an interesting concept but just lacked the character engagement and dialogue. You want to like the characters and be sucked into this world but it just feels…like it’s trying too hard and causes the opposite. It’s frustrating at times. Awesome! : So many bits of unknown history are revealed, yet mystery remains. Does Ash now have everyone's magic? Can she save everyone? Save Kai?
